Challenge for keelboat crews

The ORW Bornholm regatta is open to all keelboats.

The following classes are planned:

Class I – LOA up to 10 m
Class II – LOA 10 m and above
Class III – ORC
Class IV – KLR

The following trophies will be awarded:

Bornholm Challenge Trophy*
Christiansø Challenge Trophy*
and the ORW Bornholm Trophy**

* Class I and II
** Class III and IV

A class will be formed provided that at least 5 yachts are registered in that class.

Juni 3, 2026, Wednesday

The first yachts arrive at the port of Nexø. Organizational and recreational day.

Juni 4, 2026, Thursday

09:00 Opening of the race office - Nexø Yacht Club's 

          building. Start of registration. Distribution of

          information, race, and sponsor marks.

          Registration for "Nexø In-port Race".

12:00 Start of the harbor race.

17:00 Continued registration, distribution of information, 

          race, and sponsor marks.

20:00 Welcome reception for participants. 

Juni 5, 2026, Friday

05.00 Captains' briefing.

06.30 Start of the 1st race (Bornholm Challenge).

June 6, 2026, Saturday

06.00 Skippers briefing.

07.30 Start to the Second Race (Christiansø Challenge).

19.30 The official end of the regatta ORW BORNHOLM 

           2026, awards ceremony.

20.00 Reception at the end of the regatta.

June 7, 2026, Sunday

Yachts sailing back to their home ports.
